“Outlaws in air city”: a creative video about air pollution and climate change

Encourage awareness and activism through creative media.

I talked about it in the previous post, and here I embed Outlaws in air city, another beautiful video demonstrating how it’s possible to talk about serious subjects in a very entertaining way.

The video was produced by Climate Media Factory and his creative producer Ephraim Broschkowski, that I had the pleasure to meet during the International Summer University held in Neukalen (Germany).

Climate change. Behind the Scenery

Climate change, drought, melting ice, deforestation, sea level rise.
Everyone of us heard about these huge problems for the life of our Earth and ourselves.
Sustainable development, a possible solution. We heard about this too.

Repetita iuvant.
Yes, but there’s the risk of normalization, above all in a mainstream media system which talks about problems superficially and when a catastrophe already happened. Continue to read

Part of the work of Mrs. Stevanoska is to check the cutting of leathersThe office of Info Front association I’m volunteering for is in the same building of a factory where parts of shoes are produced. Almost every day I have the pleasure to say dobro utro – good morning – to the workers having a break in the courtyard of the factory. And often, a smiling woman comes to the office to greet us.
Vase Stevanoska, 55 years old, is the master tailor and production manager of the “Maci shoes” factory.

For the second issue of MYG – Magazine for Youth Generation, which is going to be published in the next days, I decided to interview her (read the first interview to Simon Bidjoski).

These words were said by Guido Barilla, the chairman of the famous Italian food company.

“Europe is like a melting pot, even if it’s not still working a lot”. A talk with Elodie, Evs volunteer in Prilep

In this episode of “Here we are – People of Prilep”, I interview Elodie, a French Evs volunteer.
We talked about her country and cultural integration, Macedonia and Europe.
The following lines are only some extracts from the interview, in which you can also listen to three French songs chosen by Elodie (have a look at the bottom)

In France Elodie lives near Nantes, “a very dynamic city, rich of culture and life, but that it’s growing too much”. She thinks that “we French people are too proud of our nation. We have a past of colonization and a lot of people came to our country, and that’s what makes our history and our culture now. We are mixed people, we have people coming from every area of the world. But we don’t care of them, we don’t do enough to integrate them in our nation and in our life”.
